We’re always looking for a good STEM museum and have been to more than a couple across the nation. While staying in a favorite boondocking spot outside of Phoenix, Arizona, and thanks to our student EAA membership, we had the opportunity to visit the Arizona Science Center.

What to do and Learn at the Arizona Science Center

Entrance to Arizona Science Center

The Arizona Science Center is a sprawling 3-level campus with exhibits ranging from climatology and conservation to acoustic science. Honestly, it’s a bit too much to take in in one sitting, but we did our best. We can say with some confidence that it’s one of the better STEM museums that we’ve seen. Some of our favorite parts include

The sound garden
  • The acoustic sound garden
  • The wind force simulator
  • Exploring the human body
exploring the nervous system
wind tunnel

If you’re in the area and have the time, the Arizona Science Center is worth the stop!
