Spookfest, Springfield, MO

While we stayed at Jacques Rolling Wheels DIY, we had the opportunity to explore the region. One opportunity we capitalized on was Spookfest! This family-friendly Halloween event was hosted by the local medical group Jordan Valley Community Health at the spacious Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park in Springfield, Missouri. The event very much had a carnival feel with game booths for little kids, balloon animals, hay rides, and even a corn maze!

As part of our plans to move south for the winter, we stayed for a month at Jacque’s Rolling Wheels DIY, outside of Hartville, Missouri. Jacque’s Rolling Wheels DIY is the first place we ever paid to camp. As a campground, it’s minimal; just a field. You pay for the networking experience of the other nomads and full-timers as you work on your rig. Most campgrounds do not allow this!
